The overall objective of the action is to strengthen the role of the civil society in fighting ill-treatment and impunity and promoting human rights. The overall objective will be achieved through the fulfillment of specific goals which is to enhance CSOs’ capacity to address torture and gender-based violence through monitoring and advocacy, awareness raising and support to victims. In a longer run, the engagement of CSOs, capable of actively monitoring the work of institutions, advocating changes and working with victims and community to will help decrease the prevalence of these crimes and contribute to securing the rule of law and good governance in Montenegro.
