The project initiates a series of creative actions promoting the numerous neglected potentials of the suburbs of Podgorica and the surrounding rural areas to draw the attention of the public and decision-makers to the importance of balanced development, addressing centralization problem and the development of an exclusively urban core of Podgorica, at the expense of the periphery, characterized by modest infrastructure development, lack of cultural content, depersonalized and static suburban and rural landscape. Through creative work and activism, and in cooperation with local citizens, experts, artists, as well as vulnerable groups, such as the Roma community, the project will demythologize the pre-eminence of the center through a series of workshops, lectures, concerts, public discussions, documentary films, and a collective multimedia exhibition, in rarely used locations, and affirm the importance of cultural, ecological, and economic development of the periphery to achieve more permanent center-periphery and citizens-local self-government relations.
