description | The project will focus on improving the lives of people with disabilities through three key components. The first component involves organizing workshops for individuals with disabilities up to the age of 27 in collaboration with the Day Center for Children and Youth with Developmental Challenges in Berane. This workshop will last for four months, taking place twice a week, and participants will create various items such as cards and decorative objects, which will be exhibited. The second project component entails conducting training for parents with children with disabilities, using the "Parenting for Lifelong Health" program, accredited by the Institute for Social and Child Protection. Certified UNICEF trainers will lead group sessions over two months, aiming to provide parents with essential skills for establishing a positive relationship with their children. The third project component focuses on providing psychotherapeutic services to women with disabilities over the age of 27. Through group and individual treatments, women will receive support in strengthening their integrity, self-confidence, and self-awareness. Activities will take place over two months, incorporating therapeutic techniques such as decoupage, painting, and knitting. As the final part of the project, an exhibition will be organized at the Polytechnic Museum, showcasing the works of women with disabilities and the achieved results of the project. The exhibition will have a cultural dimension with musical performances and the presence of relevant community representatives. |
