General goal of this project is: ""Contribute to the improvement of the human rights of persons with disabilities (PWD) and their families in Montenegro."" The specific goal is: ""Over a period of 10 months, influence the enhancement of human rights for PWD and their families by providing support to this group, collaborating with stakeholders, involving PWD organizations in decision-making, and informing the public about cases of PWD rights violations.""

These objectives will be achieved through the following activities: Workshops for institutionalized PWD; Support groups for PWD and their families; Free legal assistance; Collaboration with local institutions; Collaboration with national institutions; Media and awareness-raising campaing on violations of human rights of PWD and their families; and a Fundraising event to improve the living conditions of institutionalized PWD. The expected outcomes of these activities are: Increased empowerment of 62 PWD and their family members to exercise and protect their human rights; Enhanced collaboration with at least five state and local institutions and the participation of PWD organizations in decision-making regarding the human rights of PWD and their families; Increased awareness and involvement of at least 3000 donors, media representatives, and the general public regarding the human rights of PWD and their families.

The target groups of the project are PWD and their families, state and local institutions, media, donors, and the general public, while the ultimate beneficiaries are PWD and their families, institutions accommodating PWD, and the local community. The project will last for 10 months and will be implemented throughout Montenegro, with a focus on Kotor and Podgorica."
